First floor, West Street, Sheffield
169
Mount Lebanon sits above the street.
Lebanese food, cooked by Sizar Al-Andari. The restaurant opened in May 2017. It is open every day from noon until midnight.
Windows on the street. Kitchen in the room.
You can sit alone at the bar, or take a table for up to six. From the first floor you can watch West Street, or watch the cooking.

Sizar learned this at home, then left at 19.
He cooked beside his mother and grandmother. Grilled lamb, herbs, the smell of a family dinner. At 19 he left Lebanon to work in other kitchens. He settled in Sheffield with his family and opened Mount Lebanon.
Most days he is at the market or at the stove.
The pass is in sight. So is the street.

- Olive oil the base of the cooking
